Criticare/Chadds Ford Alternacare was developed by two
critical care nurses in 1981. The Company's initial focus was
on providing high-tech specialty nurses to critical care
departments of acute care hospitals located throughout the
Delaware Valley and into central PA. However, with the changes
in health care over the past decade and with the increase of
patients being discharged from the hospital quicker and sicker
along with the growing demand for alternatives to nursing home
placement for family members, Criticare/Chadds Ford
Alternacare realized the need for diversification. In response
to that need Criticare/Chadds Ford Alternacare provides a full
range of services with a full complement of caregivers from
high-tech specialty licensed nurses to companions and respite
providers. All clients, regardless of their setting, can now
benefit from the healthcare services provided by
Criticare/Chadds Ford Alternacare. In the healthcare arena,
our reputation and commitment for pure professionalism has
made us a leader in providing supportive health care services
to all of our clients.

Pamela
Grau, RN and Sally Sumner, RN are both experienced nurses and
nurse administrators with over 50 years of combined health
care experience. Relying on their personal standards of
excellence, their staff carefully screen and supervise the
individuals whom they place. Not only do Pam and Sally remain
in close touch with their staff, they also remain personally
available to clients making certain the reputation for
excellence is evident during every encounter.
